Game Review
In a tightly contested Premier League encounter at Anfield, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur shared the spoils with a 1-1 draw. The match, which saw Liverpool take an early lead through Dominik Szoboszlai (GAP +3.0%) in the 18th minute, was later equalized by Richarlison (GAP +1.8%) in the dying moments of the game. This result might not have been entirely unexpected given both teams' recent form, but it certainly left Liverpool fans feeling as though two points slipped away. The game began with Liverpool asserting dominance, capitalizing on their home advantage. Szoboszlai's goal came as a result of a well-executed team move, showcasing Liverpool's attacking prowess. However, as the game progressed, Tottenham grew into the match, with Richarlison's late equalizer in the 90th minute reflecting their resilience and ability to capitalize on late-game opportunities. Liverpool's lineup saw four changes from their previous match, with Andrew Robertson (GAP +3.7%), Joe Gomez (GAP +3.1%), Florian Wirtz (GAP +5.7%), and Rio Ngumoha coming in. These changes were likely a mix of tactical adjustments and managing player fitness, as Mohamed Salah and Ibrahima Konaté were unavailable due to international duty and personal reasons, respectively. Tottenham made three changes, introducing Richarlison, Djed Spence, and Radu Drăgușin, possibly to cover for the suspended Micky van de Ven and the unavailable Joao Palhinha. Alisson Becker (GAP +4.6%) was instrumental for Liverpool, making crucial saves to keep the hosts in the game. On the other hand, Florian Wirtz's (GAP +5.7%) performance was notable, as he orchestrated play from midfield, contributing significantly to Liverpool's attacking efforts. This draw leaves Liverpool in a precarious position as they aim to secure a top-four finish. Meanwhile, Tottenham will be buoyed by their ability to snatch a point away from home, maintaining their push for European qualification. Both teams will need to capitalize on upcoming fixtures to solidify their standings in the league table.

What is GAP?
What is Plus Minus Goals (G±)?
Plus Minus Goals (G±) is the average goal difference per game while the player was on the pitch. A value above 0 indicates that the team rather wins, a value below 0 means his team concedes more goals than they score when the player is on the pitch. As an example, if the player's team is winning 3:1 the goal difference is +2, if the player's team is loosing 0:1, the goal difference is -1. It is a pure metric which is barely adjusted for circumstances to purely show the goal difference.
What is GAP?
GAP (Game Advantage Percentage) shows the percentage gap between a player and the average league player. It answers the question: How much does a player improve or worsen a team's performance? It is based on high level game data with a focus on the impact on the goal difference (G±) from the last 50 games of a player. Besides that, GAP goes further and considers game context by involving data from the player and all other players who are at the same time on the pitch, no matter if teammates or opponents. Football GAP - the individual metric for team players.
